Work Completed
The project started with a full literature review of the relevant subject matter. For the remainder of the first semester and the Christmas Break, the project time was used to consider the most appropriate design for the for the experimental analysis.
So far during the second semester time has been used to carry out important tests of the equipment used such as load cell calibration, strain gauge calibration while the test pieces were being manufactured. Using the AS Nortek Vectrino, the capabilities of the 20m recirculating flume were analysed, which in turn resulted in the selection of a velocity test matrix to be chosen.

Work to be Done
Once the experimental tests have been completed, the results will be analysed using the programming software MATLAB. With the results gathered from Wavelab and AS Nortek Vectrino Plus software, MATLAB will be used to correlate these results and determine a spectrum.
